MIDHANI Develops Advanced Materials for Aerospace & Hypersonic Applications

Mishra Dhatu Nigam Limited (MIDHANI), a key player in defence metallurgy, is developing advanced materials for hypersonic applications and next-generation jet engines to enhance aerospace performance. The company is focusing on superalloys, corrosion-resistant coatings, and high-performance materials for military and civilian aerospace needs.
MIDHANI supplies titanium alloys, nickel-based superalloys, and special steels for aircraft engines, satellites, and space vehicles, contributing to projects like the Tejas fighter jet and ISRO missions. Recent innovations include Titanium Aluminide, known for its high-temperature strength and lightweight properties.
At Aero India 2025, MIDHANI will showcase its latest advancements, engage with global OEMs, defence contractors, and aerospace firms, and strengthen partnerships. Through the ‘Make in India’ initiative, its R&D efforts aim to create lightweight, high-strength materials that improve fuel efficiency and operational effectiveness in aerospace applications.
