Saqer Saleh Al Messabi is a seasoned asset integrity professional with over a decade of experience in upstream operations. He serves as the program manager for all non-metallics and composites projects across ADNOC Group companies, where he leads the piloting and deployment of advanced material technologies to enhance operational efficiency and reliability.

Saqer is also a member of the Non-metallic Innovation Center in the UK, contributing to global advancements in material science and integrity solutions. His expertise spans reliability, safety, and performance optimization, playing a pivotal role in shaping ADNOC’s integrity frameworks and technology-driven strategies.

Mohamed Al Naggar

Mohamed Al Naggar is an Energy and Sustainability Specialist currently serving as Assistant to the First Undersecretary and Supervisor of HSE, Energy Efficiency, and Climate at the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Egypt. In this role, he supports strategic initiatives related to energy efficiency, emissions reduction, climate strategies, HSE, process safety, and the sustainable energy transition within the petroleum sector.

He is currently pursuing a PhD focused on biodiesel production from waste vegetable oil using ultrasonic techniques. He also holds a Master’s degree focused on the comparison of emissions from gasoline and natural gas converted vehicles. In addition, his research interests include hydrogen injection into natural gas pipelines and hydrogen–diesel dual-fuel applications to improve engine performance and reduce emissions.

Al Naggar has contributed to several technical studies and international conference papers addressing emerging energy solutions such as hydrogen blending in natural gas networks, biomethane production and grid injection, and alternative clean fuels including e-fuels. His work integrates engineering analysis, environmental impact assessment, and techno-economic evaluation to support practical decarbonization strategies in the oil, gas, and transportation sectors.

Through his engagement in international conferences, research collaborations, and his role as a designated reviewer for several scientific publications, he contributes to advancing discussions on innovation, sustainability, and emerging technologies supporting the global energy transition.

Omar Albusaidy

Omar Al Busaidy is President of FPI UAE & Oman, he joined FPI in January 2024 as responsible to strengthen the relationship between FPI and the public sector as well help expand the business into new sectors and markets. Omar is a Fulbright Scholar, Author and Public Affairs expert. With a master’s degree in international Affairs & Intelligence at Florida State University, Omar is also a Non-Resident fellow at Trends Research & Advisory a geo-political think tank based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

His multiple roles have allowed him to achieve several accomplishments, from publishing his self-help book ‘Just Read It’ to investing in start-ups in the tech sector. A former Global Shaper at the World Economic Forum and an alumni of the State Department’s International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) , Omar has been invited to mentor students on entrepreneurship, communication and leadership at several universities and conferences across the UAE and around the world. He is married and has a cat. Omar loves playing padel, swimming and cycling.

Mohamed Kamal Gaber

Dr. Mohammed Kamal Gaber is a senior process engineering strategist and internationally recognized technical authority in upstream oil and gas development, flare gas recovery, and sustainable energy optimization. With over twelve years of industry experience, he currently serves as Process Design Section Head at Petrojet, where he leads complex EPC developments and multidisciplinary engineering teams delivering high-impact infrastructure projects across the Middle East and North Africa.

Dr. Gaber combines deep technical expertise with strategic oversight in process design, FEED governance, risk-based safety engineering, HAZOP leadership, pressure relief systems, hydraulic analysis, and commissioning readiness. His work is strongly aligned with global energy transition objectives, focusing on decarburization within conventional hydrocarbon operations through flare gas recovery optimization, emissions reduction frameworks, and energy efficiency integration.

Holding a PhD in Mechanical Engineering and Bio-Renewable Resources & Technology, alongside a Master’s degree in Piping Engineering and a Mini-MBA in Business Administration, Dr. Gaber bridges advanced engineering science with executive-level decision-making and sustainability strategy.

He is an established international speaker, advisory board member, and technical committee contributor at leading global forums including ADIPEC, AIMCS, MECOC Expo, and SPICONEX. His SPE-published paper, “Flare Gas Recovery: Successful Case Study,” contributes to industry best practices in process safety, operational excellence, and carbon footprint mitigation.

Recognized for his technical leadership and industry impact, Dr. Gaber has received international honors under the patronage of ADNOC and other leading institutions. Through his advisory and conference roles, he contributes strategic insight, governance perspective, and innovation-driven engineering leadership to global energy platforms.
